This Privacy Policy explains how Keepscape ("we", "our", or "us") — operated by fan yuan (independent developer) — collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Keepscape mobile application and related services (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, or register with an email address, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier. We never receive or store your third-party account password.
- Content you create. Photos or video frames you capture to create 3D keepsakes are uploaded to our servers and processed to generate 3D models. Processed models are stored so your keepsakes remain available across your devices.
- Purchase information. We verify your in-app purchases with Apple to grant the credits you purchased. We do not collect full payment card details.
- Technical data. We may collect basic diagnostic data (device model, OS version, crash reports) to operate and improve the Service.
2. How we use information
- To create, store, and sync your account and your 3D keepsakes.
- To process purchases and grant credits.
- To operate and secure the Service, and to provide support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party processing
To generate 3D models from your captures, we transmit your submitted images to a third-party 3D generation provider (Tripo3D). That provider processes images solely to produce the requested 3D model. We take steps to ensure such providers are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Sign-in services (Apple, Google) process your authentication data under their own privacy policies.
4. Data retention
Your account and keepsakes are retained until you delete them. You may delete your account at any time from within the app; we will delete your account data and your keepsakes. Copies may persist briefly in backups before being purged. Diagnostic logs are retained for a limited period.
5. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app or by contacting us below.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be notified through the Service where appropriate.
